  1. Chapter 1Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia:
  2. Chapter 2But I determined this with myself, that I would not come again to you in heaviness.
  3. Chapter 3Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you?
  4. Chapter 4Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
  5. Chapter 5For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
  6. Chapter 6We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
  7. Chapter 7Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
  8. Chapter 8Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia;
  9. Chapter 9For as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you:
  10. Chapter 10Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am base among you, but being absent am bold toward you:
  11. Chapter 11Would to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me.
  12. Chapter 12It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.
  13. Chapter 13This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.
