Psalm 103:18
“To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.”
KJV
Read in Psalm 103Meaning
Within “Human brevity and enduring covenant love,” verse 18 links covenant mercy with keeping God's covenant and remembering his commandments rather than treating grace as moral indifference; this detail advances the unit's argument and should not be detached from the whole psalm.
Read carefully
Read Psalm 103:18 inside its literary unit and the movement of Psalm 103; its imagery and claims are constrained by that context.
Reflection
Respond to the verse's specific emphasis — links covenant mercy with keeping God's covenant and remembering his commandments rather than treating grace as moral indifference — while reading it together with the surrounding lines of Psalm 103.
