Psalm 116:11
“I said in my haste, All men are liars.”
KJV
Read in Psalm 116Meaning
The line captures pressured distrust in a moment of alarm; it is not a timeless command to distrust every person or group.
Read carefully
The verse reports the speaker's alarmed statement, not a universal social rule.
Reflection
Name the feeling, then test broad conclusions against evidence and wise counsel.
