Psalm 119:156
“Great are thy tender mercies, O Lord: quicken me according to thy judgments.”
KJV

Resh (vv.153–160) grounds the plea for life in the abundance of divine compassion.
Read carefully
Mercy and God's judgments coexist in the verse; compassion does not erase justice or all consequences.
