Psalm 146:10
“The Lord shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the Lord. ”
KJV
Read in Psalm 146Meaning
The final contrast is between God's enduring kingship and the mortality of human rulers.
Read carefully
The verse celebrates God's kingship across generations, not divine-right immunity for any modern regime.
Reflection
Keep human power accountable and temporary in your imagination while grounding worship in God's enduring reign.
