Psalm 4:5
“Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord.”
KJV
Read in Psalm 4Meaning
The instruction of verse 4 becomes positive worship. Right offering and trust belong together; ritual cannot replace integrity.
Read carefully
The verse requires righteous worship and trust, not a transaction by which people manipulate divine action.
Reflection
Bring worship and conduct into alignment, refusing to treat devotion as payment for control over God.
