Psalm 58:6
“Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O Lord.”
KJV
Read in Psalm 58Meaning
The psalmist places judgment in God’s hands. The violent metaphor targets predatory power and must not be converted into permission for personal retaliation.
Read carefully
The speaker asks God to judge; the imagery is not an instruction for human violence.
Reflection
Pray for that power to be broken while using lawful protection, documentation, trusted support, and emergency help where needed.
