Psalm 60:2
“Thou hast made the earth to tremble; thou hast broken it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.”
KJV
Read in Psalm 60Meaning
The earthquake imagery turns political and military crisis into a picture of structural instability. The prayer is not merely for victory but for repair of what can no longer hold together.
Read carefully
The verse uses vivid poetic imagery to describe communal instability in its own setting; it is not a dated forecast.
Reflection
Identify the actual fault lines and work toward durable repair instead of cosmetic reassurance.
