Psalm 7:17
“I will praise the Lord according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the Lord most high.”
KJV
Read in Psalm 7Meaning
The closing reorients attention from conflict to God's character, making praise rather than revenge the final movement of the psalm.
Read carefully
The thanksgiving follows a psalm that has openly named fear, accusation, danger, and judgment.
Reflection
Remember God's character without pretending the pain never happened.
