Psalm 73:19

“How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.”

KJV

Meaning

The image warns against false security; it is not permission to celebrate another person's suffering.

Psalm 73 challenges that equation and evaluates life by truth, justice, destination, and communion with God.

Pause, seek truth, and measure flourishing by justice, faithfulness, and nearness to God.
