Psalm 84:6
“Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.”
KJV
Read in Psalm 84Meaning
The valley's precise geography is uncertain. Its literary role is clear: the road to worship can pass through dryness and sorrow without making hardship unreal.
Read carefully
The location is uncertain and the poetry does not promise instant relief from all suffering.
Reflection
Look for faithful ways to keep moving and to receive help in difficulty.
