Psalm 84:8
“O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.”
KJV
Read in Psalm 84Meaning
After the pilgrimage imagery, the psalm turns directly to petition and dependence on God.
Read carefully
The verse models petition and dependence, not control over God's response.
Reflection
Bring requests to God without pretending certainty about the outcome.
