Psalm 91:14
“Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.”
KJV
Read in Psalm 91Meaning
Within “God's closing oracle,” verse 14 shifts into God's own voice, linking deliverance with love for God and knowledge of his name; this detail advances the unit's argument and should not be detached from the whole psalm.
Read carefully
Read Psalm 91:14 inside its literary unit and the movement of Psalm 91; its imagery and claims are constrained by that context.
