Psalm 102:24
“I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years are throughout all generations.”
KJV
Read in Psalm 102Meaning
The plea is honest fear of premature death set beside divine eternity. It does not teach that lifespan is a simple measure of faith.
Read carefully
The contrast is between mortal humanity and eternal God, not a formula for measuring faith.
Reflection
Pray the fear honestly while distinguishing human lifespan from God's eternity.
