Psalm 72:11
“Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.”
KJV
Read in Psalm 72Meaning
Within “Wide royal horizon,” verse 11 envisions kings and nations honoring the ruler, extending the psalm's royal horizon outward; this detail advances the unit's argument and should not be detached from the whole psalm.
Read carefully
Read Psalm 72:11 inside its literary unit and the movement of Psalm 72; its imagery and claims are constrained by that context.
Reflection
Respond to the verse's specific emphasis — envisions kings and nations honoring the ruler, extending the psalm's royal horizon outward — while reading it together with the surrounding lines of Psalm 72.
