Genesis 9:14
“And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:”
KJV
Read in Genesis 9Meaning
Clouds and the appearing bow are joined in the covenant imagery of the post-flood promise.
Read carefully
The verse describes covenant symbolism through ordinary sky phenomena and does not present every rainbow as a private message about unrelated decisions.
Reflection
The same clouds that could recall judgment are paired with a sign of restraint, changing the emotional horizon of the storm imagery.
